I actually went here on a date 🙂 We had been roaming around different parts of Los Angeles all day, and ended up here for an evening snack. Now it looks to have taken an upscale turn. Back then it was plastic tables and chairs, and a tarp to shelter us from the rain coming down. The food stalls were plentiful, making it really hard to commit, and the lines were long. Seemed like a place for everyone, families were out, friends socializing, couples on dates. Really liked the place! Definitely wouldn’t mind going back.
N.B. Farmers Market is next to The Grove, a popular outdoor shopping mall, with dining and entertainment options. I’d say one of the top ones in LA.
