Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

review disney's grand californian hotel & spa anaheim los angeles california usa

I guess it’s quite obvious, but this one is out in Anaheim. In other words not ideal for exploring the rest of Los Angeles. It’s a big hotel, not doubt, but with the interior of the common areas I got a cosy, cabin feeling still. The forest themed rooms look to have been refurbished a little since I stayed, adding more sleeping space, possibly turning what I thought was a decent size room into a bit more crammed one. I had a balcony with a view of Downtown Disney. Though people were passing by on their way somewhere a floor or so below, I didn’t have any noise come through. I stayed here for work, for a Disney convention, so I didn’t get to use much of the amenities. Had a short break by the pool, which was a nice and quiet area. Several dining options on site, but with the entertainment district right around the corner, I had breakfast at the Storyteller’s Cafe only, which offered a wide, tasty selection. For convenience the hotel also has its own entrance to the Adventure Park. Very handy to not have to queue up.

    1. Heia 🙂 Likte veldig godt at det var koselig atmosfære, selv om det er et stort hotell.
