St. John’s Co-Cathedral, for a Second Time

is st johns co cathedral valletta malta worth it

I decided to revisit St. Johns Co-Cathderal in Valletta, Malta, as I could not for the life of me remember what it looked like inside. The entrance fee (15 euros, 2022) wasn’t abysmal either, so why not. Definitely a decision I did not regret. It is beautiful! No doubt an ornamentation overload, but it all fits very well together. It could easily have gone over the top. Loved the ceiling, the arches, the floor covered with marble tombstones, and the view from the gallery – brilliant! You can also access the Grand Masters’ Crypt, but nothing too exciting – stay above ground 🙂 Can’t fathom I had forgotten about this.
