This was my first, but, definitely, not my last lobster roll. I really, really liked it!! When you get past the initial “shock” of warm bun against cold lobster salad, you just dig in. And when you get perfectly cooked fries sprinkled with the famous Old Bay seasoning on the side, which reminds me, I need to pick up a glass next time I’m in town, you’re pretty close to heaven – well, at least I am 😀 I found Hank’s Oyster Bar in Alexandria, Virginia, online somewhere, and it seems like it wasn’t just me who found it sounding appealing. The old town place was pretty packed, not a big space though, two parallel, rectangular rooms, but luckily they had room for me 🙂 As the name says, this is an oyster bar, so next time I’ll be cramming down oysters, like the family of two adults, and two kids, on the neighbouring table 🙂

I think I’d like this a lot too. I’ve never had lobster salad but I like most other seafood salads.
Lobster and King Crab are my favourites, if I have to choose 🙂 Now I need to try a lobster roll in New England
