Initially I was looking into those cave hotels, when searching for a place to stay in Göreme, Turkey. After a bit of research, I concluded they might be too claustrophobic for my comfort. Instead, I went for a more suitable alternative, a stone house. Considering this was a budget hotel, and among the cheapest, I was surprised with what I got. Better quality than expected. The only downside might be the surroundings. The neighbouring lot is a building site. However, no noise, while I was there. Across the street is an industrial bakery, with a small shop. Further up the road, nothing much. It’s just on the outskirt of things. Then again, it’s merely two short blocks from the main street. Weighing up the gloomy vicinity, is the top-floor breakfast room offering splendid views of the air balloons going up in the morning. Sliding windows = great photo ops.
I found it cheapest to book directly with the hotel. They also helped out with arranging airport transportation. 15 euros, 750 Turkish lire. Like most of Turkey, WhatsApp is your best bet getting in touch with people.
