This cafe in Asuncion, Paraguay, was a case of not judge by the cover. From the outside, Cafe Martinez, for some reason, reminded me of an old style Italian coffee house. And for yet another, undefined, reason, I’m not too keen on them 😀 Still, I opened the door, and stepped inside. Surprise! It was far from a dark interiored litte place. The total opposite – modern, bright, colourful. A really nice spot. And really nice, and helpful, staff too. One English speaking lady, which meant I got food 😀 And good food at that. Big chicken sandwich, accompanied by potato chips and spicy dip. Delicious freshly made juice. Oh, how I enjoyed myself!
PS! I see from their website they’ve roasted coffee since 1933, so for the caffeine lovers, this might be a must.
