So, I didn’t give Lazienki Park in Warsaw much of a chance. I did not walk the grounds, and I did not go inside the palace. I basically strolled in the park entrance, and headed straight over to Lazienki Palace, which is sat on an island on an artificial lake. Quite a neat setup! Since there was a waiting time to be let inside the palace, in groups, I decided to pass. From the looks of it, it looks quite nice, so it may be worth doing. Lazienki Park, or Royal Baths Park, is the largest and most popular park in the city. It is filled with palaces, gardens, galleries and museums, theatres, monuments, and…deckchairs, which probably come in very handy when attending the popular summer concerts held here. I imagine chilling there on hot summer evenings, might not be too bad 🙂
Could perhaps be considered a bit off in relation to the city centre, but is easily reached by public transportation.
