Good High Street Restaurant

recommended indian restaurant karl johans gate oslo norway

I tend to feel that if you walk down the main street of a city, and decide to pop in for a meal at one of the restaurants located there, chances are you’ll have a less than decent experience. Upon that note, here is a tip for Oslo visitors not wanting to stray (too much) from Karl Johans gate, and still want good food. Jaipur. On Egertorget. Not on street level, so you have to lift your eyes one floor up. This place has been around for many years now, I’ve visited quite a few times, and I’m always content when I leave. This is not exceptional food, but it is good food. Portions are of satisfactory size – I can never finish, my friend of the male species is full when we leave. This time the restaurant was a lot busier than on previous occasions – that bodes well 🙂
