When entering the F2 Hotel in Harstad, this is what greets you. Not a human in sight, no reception. It’s automated. Around 10 am on the day of check-in I got a text message telling me that the room was ready, what room I was stay in, and the key code to use for the hotel front door and the room door. And it all worked the way it was intended to, no hiccups, a smooth ride. Perfect, if you’re not in the need of personal service, just a centrally located and cheap place to rest your head. Even though it might not look like it at first glance, this is a basic/budget hotel. It recently opened, so the common areas look fresh, but the rooms a bit more worn.
