From what I can remember, I’ve never had meze before. Tapas the Turkish / Greek way. But I’ll gladly repeat the experience. At least at this tiny restaurant in St. Hanshaugen, Oslo, Norway. As this was a work dinner, we didn’t get to pick ourselves, what out of the 28 meze dishes to get. However, happy with the variety served, something for everyone. Beef sausage (sucuk), köfte (meatballs), chicken, scampi, falafel, lamb stew, tzatziki, hummus, aioli, muhamra, bean salad (piyaz), feta, and hallomi. To name a few. They also serve lunch, and some of the mezes as main courses / dinner dishes.
Albertine Spiseri is small, not many seats, so might be smart to book ahead. It is outside the city centre, so you don’t want to end up empty-handed once there. It is a cozy, little place, where the heater is on full throttle – it gets hot!
Here are other restaurants in Oslo. Happy eating 🙂
