Checking In: Siauliai, Lithuania

budget hotel siaullai lithuania

Finding a budget hotel in Siauliai was not the easiest. Didn’t look like there were many of them. My search result consisted mostly of hosted accommodation. Since I arrived early into town, and only had that day to explore, I wanted a place I could check into immediately, or at least drop my bags at. Also, I wanted something close to the train station, as I was arriving and leaving by train. Turne Hotel checked all my boxes. Sure it is basic, but it is centrally located just a block and a half from the pedestrian main street, and a shopping mall, where the bus station is at, is not far away either. It sits on a quiet side street / dead end, among apartment buildings, 500 meters only from the train station. The room has three beds, but is packed with furniture, so three people might be too cramped. Bed linens smell of detergent, which always gives me a homey feeling 🙂

NB! Not to be confused with Turne Guesthouse.
