Casa Conforto in Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal, might be the most relaxing place I’ve stayed at. The high ceiling, and pale colour palette, just made me feel at ease. Like at home 🙂 The room vibe is maybe be a bit on the feminine side 🙂 , so perhaps not for all. The hotel appears to be quite new, or newly renovated, and I love the look of the whole thing. Stylishly decorated. You also have access to a kitchen with table and chairs, and a sitting room. Both spotless. It is a quiet place, despite all you need is right at your door step. Two minutes walk from the main square, tops. Same goes for the waterfront. The only thing that might be an issue for some, is the fact that the reception at times is not staffed, meaning you sometimes have to contact them through WhatsApp. They are however always reachable, from early morning to late at night. Very quick to reply, and awfully helpful. In case they’re not there upon your arrival, you are given the access code for the main door, and your room number. Room key is in the lock. You basically just walk right in. Like at home 🙂 Note, you have to haul luggage up a fairly long staircase. Like at my home 😀
