Duplex for One

horowitz apartment hotel review lviv ukraine

Stepping into the room, it dawned on me what I had booked. A two storey studio apartment. Needless to say, I had plenty of space in Lviv, Ukraine, as the top floor unit can sleep up to 4 people. On the first floor you have the bathroom, kitchenette with table and chairs, sofa bed, and big TV. The second floor consists of the main sleeping quarters only, equipped with a queen sized bed, table and chairs, TV, and access to a very small balcony, not for tall people 🙂 The loft duplex obviously had more than enough square feet for one person, but I definitely didn’t mind 😀 Spacewise the hotel has given priority to the guest accommodations, the common areas are tiny. A breakfast room in the basement (breakfast was generous!), a small reception area, and a library, with glass floor, at the top, all connected by a nicely looking staircase. In other words, no elevators. So if you’re on the uppers floors, you’ll need to haul your luggage, or get a hand from the helpful staff. Despite getting to your room might be a bit exhausting, a positive thing is you get away from the street noise. Cause the hotel location is super central! Impeccable! You’re basically around the corner from Rynok Square. I guess here I should mention my room faced the backyard 😉
