You need it central, cheap, clean, and safe? Then Mirante Hotel might be your choice too. In my mind perfectly located. One block from the local bus station. Another block and you are at a big grocery store, with lots of tempting items, in the bakery section 😀 There are pharmacies, which sell water and other necessities, along with a few shops and restaurants, on the main street two blocks east. Everything I needed within easy reach. The hotel itself is basic, but clean and safe. Some rooms appear to have gotten an upgrade. There was an issue with the first room I got (refurbished), so they gave med a another one (old edition), without any hassle. I prefer to be on the upper floors, which sometimes results in an excellent room view – very happy 🙂 Add to that helpful staff, and a tour desk, which set me up with a trip to the falls on the Argentinian side. All for “nothing”. #cheap
