Comfort I Like!

review anmeldelse comfort hotel kristiansand norway

When spending a night in Kristiansand, I chose Comfort Hotel. It was one of the cheapest alternatives, but I’d say you don’t compromise on anything by staying here. It is centrally located, both in regards to the main street, Markens gate, and the train station, bus terminal and car rental services. Half a block from them all. The city is quite small anyway, so nothing is very far away. As with a lot of the hotels under the Nordic Choice label, the interior design stands out. Well, maybe not as much as Comfort Hotel in Gothenburg, which went all out, but there are still a few cool features. I loved the wallpaper in my room! Someone on Instagram thought it resembled me 😀 Have a look yourself – here’s my IG. I liked the oil barrels for recycling. Which reminds me, indefinite thumbs up for the possibility of donating old clothes. When I travel for long periods of time, I always bring clothes that I don’t want anymore, so that I can leave them, and pick up new stuff on the way. Superb initiative! Thought the signs on the restrooms and laundry rooms were amusing as well. You’ll spot several small, unusual details. The paring area is on the 4th floor. Step out the door, and you’re on the lot. On the negative side, the room is somewhat modest in size, and it can be quite a walk to get to your room.
