Bakeri Nostalgi as it is actually called, is one of the few businesses which have managed to survive at Silsand, the main settlement on Senja. I guess that should say something. We locals love it 🙂 It is definitely a place you need to stop by and stock up at, on your way towards the outer reaches of the island. Every time I’m home I have to go get my favourites – cinnamon buns, and pretzels with anise. And more than one of each 🙂 All products are made in the back. Yesterday’s surplus are half off the next day. And if you want, you can sit down and enjoy the deliciousness in-house.
Silsand is situated just across the bridge from the mainland. And at the centre of “town”, a junction :), you’ll find this place.
