Both of us were pretty surprised when we opened the door to our room at Extended Stay America in the Killearn neighbourhood outside the city centre of Tallahassee, Florida. It was a lot bigger than what we were expecting. That is, I had forgotten the place has suites only, and my travel mate hadn’t paid much attention to the link I had sent her 🙂 So even though the hotel is in the budget range, it definitely had more than we needed for our overnight stay. Location wise this was also perfect, for us. Right next to Interstate 10, which we were going on the next day, and if you have a car, there is no problem reaching the nearby supermarkets, shops, restaurants and so on. Just didn’t seem possible to walk over. Amenities include free on-site parking and grab-and-go breakfast.
For our road trip we rented a car from Alamo Rent A Car.
