The old town of Andorra‘s capital, Andorra la Vella, must be the smallest old town I have ever come across. I guess it’s nice, but hard to get a fair impression as it is so small. I don’t think I exaggerate if I say it was done in 15 minutes. You’re definitely not gonna spend more than 30 minutes. Unless you decide to sit down at a cafe or enter the church or the former parliament. I was gonna have a look inside the latter, but it turned out you have to book time ahead for a tour, they are all private. Not being a must I decided not to. Basically, I came, I saw, I left ๐
Looks small but beautiful! I wouldn’t mind hanging out for a bit at a cafe there.
Very small, very nice and a very small cafe ๐
I’ve been to Andorra twice! Would love to visit it in summer though (only been in winter) – such a pretty place! #TheWeeklyPostcard
I really liked going to Ordino. Liked the small village, and seeing the other small places on the way there. I am not much of a skier. so I imagine wintertime is not for me. How about the Caldea spa!?!?!! Loved it!!
Cute little place! I definitely would’ve had a coffee at the cafe ๐ Thanks for sharing!

Yes, very cute and very small ๐ I think the coffee shop had two tables ๐
What a cute little town! Love the stonework! Thanks for linking up with #TheWeeklyPostcard!
Very adorable old town. Just wish it had been a little bit bigger, more to explore ๐
Thank you for covering this place, now we don’t have to go either. Oh well. #TheWeeklyPostcard
I’ll happy cover the world for/on behalf of you ๐
now I haven’t been yet to this tiny country, just got back from San Marino:) #theweeklypostcard
Might be a lot of the same…? I have not been to San Marino yet ๐
I’m always amazed at how they collected and transported enough stones to build these towns. I would think the terrain in Andorra would be extremely tough to transport anything without modern technology… and yet, there it is. Beautiful and still standing! Thanks for sharing! #TheWeeklyPostcard
True! Maybe they in this case just chopped if off somewhere in the neighbourhood, they surely have enough of it around ๐
Awe too bad you had to book ahead, hope you enjoyed the visit anyway. #TheWeeklyPostcard
I wasn’t too bummed to miss out, otherwise I would have gone back. I prefer not to plan ahead when walking around town, but I’ve realised sometimes you have to ๐
