If Bastard Burgers wasn’t a success story, Kazoku definitely was. This looks to be primarily a sushi restaurant, but they have a handful of hot dishes as well. I went for Korean: Entrecôte Bulgogi. Thinly sliced entrecôte in Korean sauce served with kimchi, it reads. Not the most detailed descriptions on the menu, but as ask, and the waiters will help you in any way. The kimchi, I didn’t spot, unfortunately. Would have added to my Korean experience, but food still very good! For dessert, I tried sesame balls filled with red bean paste, for the first time. Not bad at all, but you need to like it a bit “doughy”… Accompanied by matcha ice cream, which is always a plus in my book 🙂 And for drinks, Japanese Ramune. Not my first time around this fun installation, but still had the waitress whack the bottle. Didn’t wanna risk a mess. Blueberry flavoured. Looks, and tastes, artificial. Other flavours better.
Kazoku is off the main streets of Luleå. Not a place you’ll just stumble upon, unless you’re visiting the residential and/or office buildings located there. Considering how “remote” it was, there was a decent amount of guests. Interior nicer than on my pic, didn’t want to disturb other patrons, snapping away 😀 When I sat down, a sign at the table had me wondering, about not eating something. When I saw the sushi being brought out, I got it. A cute food serving stand, with dry ice.
