Street Art Treasure Hunt

It didn’t start out this way, but with extra time on my hands in Bodø, I decided to add more murals to the collection I had already randomly stumbled upon, while strolling the streets. I acquired a leaflet, including a map, from the tourist information office, and went hunting. Some of the items were a bit hard to spot, so it involved a lot of turning around 360 degrees, and walking into every backyard I could find. It was actually quite fun 🙂 Most pieces stem from when Bodø hosted the travelling urban art festival, UpNorth Festival, in 2016. Several artworks were put up all over town. Cool stuff from international, Norwegian, and even local artists. Unfortunately some of the paintings have been ruined since then, but luckily others have been added. The new murals are not on the map, so it will require even more detective work. Good luck, and happy hunting!
