Oslo Street Art

street art brenneriveien oslo norway

Street art might not be the most widespread art form in Oslo, but you will come across a few bits here and there wandering through town. There is one area that serves up piece after piece though, and that is the area around Brenneriveien, Ingens gate and the well-known nightspot Blå. This intersection most definitely has the highest concentration of creations, and some really cool ones too. To spot them all, it is all about looking closely, lift up your eyes, turn around, and check the ground. Happy “hunting” 🙂

Brenneriveien is a bit off, depending on where in town you’re staying, so ask for directions.

  1. I love these murals! I am very enticed about street art lately, so I began looking for it everywhere I travel. #TheWeeklyPostcard

  3. Love street art, so will have to check it out when I make it to Oslo. Thanks for sharing on #TheWeeklyPostcard

  4. Great shots. I only saw a little a few walls of street art when I was walking towards the Mathallen and a couple more elsewhere. I love finding art outside of galleries.

    1. I’ve become more and more tuned in on street art. This area is close to Mathallen. One access point to Mathallen would be walking past the end of Brenneriveien, so you probably saw these pieces.

Love to hear your comment :)
